Birch Essential Oil

Sweet Birch (Betula lenta) essential oil is mainly made up of methyl salicylate. It’s a very strong oil and should only be used with caution and knowledge of its contraindications. It should NOT be used at all by anyone allergic to aspirin or who is taking blood thinners or who has decreased blood clotting ability.
